Built in Colorado Springs From One Truck to a Full Team
Jake Mercer was born and raised in Colorado Springs. After high school, he went to work as a garage door technician — learning the trade from the ground up, one service call at a time. Over six years, Jake completed thousands of spring repairs, opener installations, and emergency calls across every neighborhood in the city.
In 2014, Jake started CS Garage Door with a single truck, a full set of tools, and one straightforward promise: “Give every Colorado Springs customer honest pricing, quality parts, and service fast enough to solve their problem the same day it happens.”
Ten years later, that promise hasn’t changed. CS Garage Door now operates with a growing crew of 4–5 trained technicians — all Colorado Springs locals, all background-checked, all trained to the same standard Jake set when he ran every call himself.
