The garage has not been used while I was deployed.
Check it before you need it rather than after. Rollers stiffen, the bottom seal can bond to the concrete and a battery backup will usually have gone flat. Forcing a door in that state is how panels bend and cables jump the drum. A tune-up costs considerably less than the repair that follows.
